The Old Bakery, Barrowby, Lincolnshire

The unlisted brick property was originally the village bakery and was made into a private home retaining many of the original Victorian features which the current owners are keen to protect. We were asked to repair areas of failed original plaster discovered during a programme of redecoration.

We used lime plaster and cow hair to carefully match the profiles of the surviving plasterwork. This small project was appreciated by the owners, becoming part of the ongoing story of their home.
