The longest running and best example of Tudor Living History and crafts, where over 300 volunteers re-enact Tudor life each summer. Visitors are welcome to step back in time and visit to see life as it was in Tudor times.

Jack Greene – Alchemist and Tudor Traveller for school visits & events. Jack has recently created artefacts for several film projects including ‘The Luttrell Psalter’ and ‘The Lady of Shallot’. He is unique – an entertainer, educator and kiln builder, potter, spinning wheel maker and one of the most versatile re-enactors.
They make beautiful, soft, easy to wear hand made shoes which they research with exacting historical accuracy.
Rob Butler – Historical Promotions. Organiser of many of the historic events for local councils that we attend.
Jim the Pot as he is otherwise known, who along with his wife Emma make the most wonderful replica pots for re-enactors.

Moira Forsyth dyes wool, silk and cotton with natural plants, producing incredibly beautiful yarns. They are used by re-enactors, embroiderers and designers all over the world to create unique, vivid garments.
Moira also runs training courses in natural dyes for groups.

We have traded here since the start in 2003 and the variety of different crafts people keeps increasing. Many of the traders are small scale makers and artisans who are keeping traditional skills and crafts alive.
We trade here and have been customers of most of the traders for many years! Even if you are not a re-enactor you will find a day’s entertainment as well as many unusual gifts. A must for history teachers!
